Bent Brandt Updates Showroom in Aarhus – Focusing on Function, Materials, and Inspiration

Bent Brandt has updated their showroom in Aarhus, further strengthening their position as one of the industry’s leading suppliers to professional kitchens.

The update comes just a few years after the establishment of the showroom in Copenhagen and marks another important step in creating inspiring environments for professionals within foodservice and large-scale catering.

The Aarhus showroom has been designed as a vibrant space for inspiration, where equipment and solutions for professional kitchens are presented in functional and aesthetically refined surroundings. Here, customers and partners can experience materials, details, and layouts up close – and gain concrete ideas for their own projects.

Cohesive Design in Collaboration with Laboratoriet

The expansion was carried out in close collaboration with Laboratoriet and architectural designer Morten Hedegaard, who has worked with Detra products since 1996 across numerous projects. His long-standing familiarity with the functionality and flexibility of the products has been a decisive factor in the development of the new showroom areas.

In collaboration with Bent Brandt, materials and solutions have been carefully selected, combining wood, aluminum, and steel in a modern and professional expression. The characteristic slanted shelves have been integrated into the interior design, creating clarity, accessibility, and a strong visual identity across the different showroom zones.

The choice of materials supports both durability and aesthetics – qualities that are essential in professional kitchen environments. At the same time, the layout demonstrates how the Detra system can be adapted to different functions and needs without compromising on design.

A Showroom Focused on Function and Flexibility

The updated showroom in Aarhus serves as a dynamic meeting point for the industry. Functional solutions, thoughtful material selection, and an architectural approach come together in a cohesive whole that clearly reflects the strengths of Detra products:

  • Flexibility in layout

  • Durable materials for professional use

  • Visual lightness combined with robust construction

  • Adaptability to different kitchen zones

The result is a showroom that not only presents products – but demonstrates how well-considered design can support workflows, efficiency, aesthetics, and minimalism in professional kitchens.
