Yonobi x Studio 0405
In an old building overlooking the canal at Gammel Strand, Studio 0405 has designed Yonobi’s new ceramics workshop and café.
The brief was to accommodate the practical needs of a working ceramics studio while highlighting the character of the historic interiors. Yonobi Nybrogade was therefore conceived as a light intervention that adds a new layer to the building’s already rich and idiosyncratic history.
Detra as Part of the Interior Design
First and foremost, Yonobi is a working workshop. The interior is built around a simple and robust system capable of supporting production, storage, and display. DETRA’s shelving system is used throughout the project, forming the framework for the workshop’s many functions.
The result is a space where old and new come together, creating room for work, craftsmanship, and contemplation.
